Job description, responsibilities and duties

As supply project manager (SPM), you will be part of the core project team for development of our products. For your assigned project you will report to your program manager. Functionally you will report to the SPM manager for our business unit. As member of the core team, you will be in charge of one project from nomination until start of production, therefore your will be responsible for:
• all of the suppliers of your project during the development phase (2 years) from the quality, cost and planning point of view
• setting the budget in accordance to project objectives at the beginning of a project,
• coordination of all the technical changes in the project with the supplier
• negotiation according to projects cost, quality and deadline
• problem-free start of the serial production
• keeping up with the validation time plan when purchasing the desired parts
• solving all of the problematic situations with the suppliers
• preparation the project status (RPM) papers for manager that attends milestones review
• following the critical topics identified during RPM/milestones review
• functional managings the project team support
• managing purchasing requests
