Job description, responsibilities and duties

As HR Manager Manufacturing for SK, HU & BG you are Business Partner for the Manufacturing Leadership Team and you will are overseeing support for all other commercial functions in close collaboration and under supervision of the HR Manager, CZSK. You will partner within the region to create growth opportunities for our talent and build the right business capabilities. You will be managing and developing your HR Team of direct reports (2 HR Managers and 2-3 HR Specialists) to ensure competencies and capabilities growth.

Role overview

  • Build employee and organizational excellence at the South Central European plants by ensuring optimal flexibility in resource allocation and planning, recruitment, administration, talent development and retention in order to support business needs of functions, build organizational capabilities, continuous improvement culture, commitment and performance in line with Mondelez International HR strategy
  • Develop a plan to deliver positive engagement for all departments linked to the Unleashment Result agenda, in Manufacturing also in alignment with IL6S/HPWS roll out plans for the location (Bratislava, Szekes, Svoge)
  • Support the multiple transformation agendas within the manufacturing functions (rightsizing projects)
  • Build, lead and implement various HR projects (at the plant and country level) together with other HR functions to answer business needs and goals
  • Provide HR expertise in all HR areas i.ex. hiring and recruitment, talent planning and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, personnel administration, labour code, employees evaluation etc.
  • Partnering within SCE region to create growth opportunities for our talent and building the right business capabilities
  • Influencing MDLZ culture that enables us to be competitive (remuneration, skill pay system, etc.)
  • Establish right model and strategy of temporary employment, manage temporary workers agenda with fulfillment of required KPIs.

Requirements for the employee

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

Czech - Proficiency (C2) or Slovak - Proficiency (C2) or English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

  • University degree in a relevant discipline or in-depth HR management experience
  • Solid HR background in manufacturing/ commercial or similar
  • Fluent English and Slovak/Czech, any other language would be an advantage
  • Experience in managing various expectations and building agreement around priorities
  • Experience in managing HR areas and end-to-end processes together with deep knowledge of Slovak Labor Law
  • Be an effective communicator able to build strong, meaningful partnership with numerous stakeholders at all levels and manage variety of expectations
  • Flexibility and openness to accept and promote changes and ability to work in a constantly changing environment with sometimes conflicting or at least multiple priorities
  • Be a skilled influencer with the capability to understand complexities related to operating business model and being able to develop a cohesive short- and long-term strategies
