UAT Test Manager

What you will do

We are hiring a UAT Test Manager as part of our Finance Transformation Project team.

This individual will be a core team member coordinating and providing oversight of UAT (User Acceptance Testing) activities during the deployment of a new ERP across EMEA and LATAM regions.

The UAT Test Manager will be responsible for interfacing with the EMEALA wide business for the definition and execution of the test scripts to be used within the UAT phase. They will be responsible to ensure that the delivered solution is tested in a complete and timely manner for confirmation it works for the business.

The role holder will initially work with the consultancy support to design the approach and test in the pilot country. They will evolve the approach to UAT and scale up to lead across concurrent multiple country implementations which will be across all EMEALA geographies. The approach they design and prove will be the methodology utilized across the JCI organization.

How you will do it

• Defining UAT Scope and Approach (including test schedule) with the relevant Business users & 3rd party partners
• Driving test preparation ? based on the scope drive the development of enhanced and/or additional scripts (beyond those used in ST/SIT/E2E) plus identifying the data required for testing
• Ensuring test scenarios and scripts are completed and managing the execution of the UAT testing phase (run the test management meetings and report progress to PMO. Escalating / taking adjusting actions in response to execution progress)
• Ensure the availability of the appropriate resources for testing
• Ensure the defect management process is executing in alignment with the test schedule
• Manage the stage gate entry and exit processes for UAT
• Contribute to the overall test exit report

What we look for

Required

• Stakeholder management with the business where there have multi priorities.
• The ability to do a situation assessment, identify the root causes of an issue and problem solve.
• Ability to consider where there is risk in the activity and put in place proactive mitigation measures
• Min 2 years of experience in User Acceptance Testing
• Previous experience of Testing management role
• Demonstrable experience of delivery for large, multi-country and complex projects
• Experience in managing and coordinating a variety of resources, including test, technical and business teams across different work streams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to influence across the organization and work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills to provide accurate and comprehensive reporting to program leadership
• Ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated
• Great level of organization skills and rigorousness

Preferred

• 2 years managing and leading a team
• Panaya testing tool knowledge is a plus
• Any additional European language is a plus

Salary starting from 2200 EUR/month gross based on relevant experience.
