L2 Automation Support Analyst

What will you do?

L3 Automation Support Analyst is part of the global Enterprise Automation CoE team within Corporate IT. Reporting to the Automation Support Team Lead you will analyse and troubleshoot issues cascaded to you by the Level 1 team segment, which are out of scope of basic Operating Procedures and Operational Handbooks. You will be responsible for performing Root Cause Analysis, followed by actions, to secure proper addressing and issue resolution. You will work closely with all levels of Automation Support Team and with the core Enterprise Automation CoE members to contribute in driving improvements to the Automation Operations within JCI.

 

This position will suit Windows Administrator, IT System Engineer or IT Analyst, preferably with experience of RPA tools such as Blue Prism. Automation Developers, with experience of system support and troubleshooting, are also a good fit for this role. Experience with other RPA tools considered.

 

How will you do it?

  • troubleshoot and resolve issues cascaded by Level 1 Support Teams
  • manage code release in test and production by verifying approvals and code pre-test and pre-production checklists
  • update Monitoring Masterlists and Robot Schedules in production as per request
  • manage and update Credential Manager in test and production
  • renew expired passwords as per Operational Handbooks
  • archive Automation platform activity logs
  • setup and configure development, test and production virtual machines
  • work with dedicated Supplier Platform Team to address and resolve platform related issues
  • create daily reports for Enterprise Automation CoE management team
  • work alongside business users, SMEs and IT Analysts to understand, assess, replay and maintain change requests and bug fixes to agreed specs - meeting business requirements
  • report status, issues and risks to all relevant Stakeholders
  • use ServiceNow tool for IT Service/Change Management tracking as well as MS Azure DevOps for day to day workload management
  • meet target SLAs for completion of incoming requests on time
  • improve skills in automation products by completing certifications and self-studying next generation topics of AI, OCR and machine learning

 

What are we looking for?

Required

  • Experienced Windows Administrator, IT System Engineer, or Automation Developer with at least 1 year of proven working experience
  • Great knowledge of issue troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
  • Strong problem-solving skill; ability to break the problem down logically into smaller manageable parts and solve it
  • Understanding of the IT landscape, systems and integration architecture in large organizations
  • Good understanding of IT Service Management and Change Management
  • Self-motivated, team player, action and results oriented
  • Ability to deliver quality output under tight deadlines
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • English language to a business proficiency level

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related technical fields is an advantage
  • Experience of RPA tools such as Blue Prism (preferred), UiPath, Automation Anywhere and NICE (experience with other RPA tools will be considered)
  • RPA, ITIL or any ITSM related certification(s)
  • Experience with RPA development for at least 1 year
  • Understanding of programming concepts or programming background in any coding language (.NET, VBA, SQL, HTML, C#)
  • Knowledge of MS Power BI, SharePoint and MS Azure DevOps
  • Experience in Key Future Capabilities: OCR, Chatbots, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or NLP
  • Understanding of basic object-oriented concepts

 

Training

In this role you will be encouraged to improve and develop your knowledge through on-going training and achieving certifications in areas such as Blue Prism, UiPath, ITSM/ServiceNow, Microsoft Azure and more. Successful candidates will also enjoy the benefit of developing their skills in AI as our Automation journey evolves in the future.

 

Salary starting from 2100 EUR/month gross based on relevant experience. This position requires working 50% of second shift (from 13:30 to 22:00). The second shift will be compensated by 30% extra pay plus an extra meal voucher per day.
