SAP Senior Consultant

What you will do

Our Record to Report team are responsible for completing general accounting transactions across the JCI business portfolio, whilst at the same time, ensuring that we meet our internal and external reporting and control requirements. This role provides excellent opportunities to apply existing skills in a complex and interesting environment, whilst developing your professional profile through the use of varied ERPs, directly enhancing your career potential.

• Run FX revaluation
• Open/Close periods in SAP
• Preparation of various regular and ad hoc reports on time and in requested quality
• Prepare general ledger journal entries, ensuring proper coding, appropriate accruals are in place; perform general ledger account reconciliations
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
• Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements
• Complete the close process in line with the group and local timetables
• Maintaining procedures and transaction processing
• Ensuring compliance with corporate policies
• Assist with internal and external audits; assist with month-end  annual closings

• Experience in Accounting/Controlling 3-5 years
• Accountant / BA Economics or similar education
• fluent English
• Experience in SAP and MS Office tools
• Self- motivated with ability to work independently and also in a team environment
• Take initiative, use sound judgment, reasoning and experience to solve problems

You will be based in our newly opened offices in the vibrant city center close to the river and Eurovea shopping center. The onsite facilities include a fitness center, coffee machines, canteen and nursery. If you are relocating to Bratislava to join JCI you will be eligible to receive a housing allowance to help you get your new life set up!
