Finance Process Senior Manager - EMEA

We currently have an exciting opportunity for av  EMEA Finance Process Senior Manager to join the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead a team of approx. 20 finance professionals performing a range of accounting and finance activities
• Support transition projects including staff hiring and onboarding activities, discovery, work shadowing, transitioning, stabilization and sign off
• Implement Best Practice processes in core finance areas including Record-to-Report (RtR), Procure-to-Pay (PtP), Order-to-Cash (OtC) and Intercompany (ICO) 
• First contact point for Country Finance Managers (CFM) and Business Leadership teams for issues regarding compliance and operational performance
• Ensure financial process compliance to relevant internal policies, internal/SOX controls and US GAAP
• Ensure timely and quality preparation of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations with appropriate authorization
• Lead execution of MEC (Month End Close) activities and ensure alignment to closing calendar in liaison with CFMs
• Supporting internal projects – merge/split of entities, migration to other ERP, leading of UAT, etc.

Essential
• Finance & Accounting degree or equivalent
• 8-12 years’ management experience with teams of at least 5 people
• Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
• Previous experience in complex finance or controlling roles
• Excellent communication  skills across all levels of the organization
• Strong customer and business orientation
• Desire to develop business acumen
• Strong people management skills
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Ability to write and speak fluent English
Desirable
• Holds an ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA
• Shared service centre experience
• Manufacturing, Engineering and Consumer Goods
• Project Management
• ERPs (SAP, AS400, Concord, etc.), HFM preferred
• Multilingual
