Job Description

Financial accounting:

  • Accounting of invoices received or other relevant documents, including ensuring the circulation of these accounting documents,
  • Accounting for and handling of dispatched invoices or changes and credit notes,
  • Posting of bank statements,
  • Accounting for assets,
  • Accounting for accrued expenses,
  • Preparing and accounting for accruals,
  • Project cost allocations,
  • Posting of travel expense forms,
  • Balance sheet reconciliation process

Payroll accounting:

  • Complete payroll preparation, including communication of all relevant
  • information within the company and to third parties.

Controlling/Reporting:

  • Preparation of full controlling reporting including implementation of budget and forecast changes - regular and ad-hoc reporting as required by management,
  • Preparation of Cash-Flow and Planning reports - regular and ad-hoc reporting based on management requirement,
  • Preparation and submission of statistical reports, Intrastat and other reports required by local authorities,
  • Preparation of various financial analysis based on management requirements,
  • Intercompany and group reconciliations.

Other financial needs:

  • Complete administration of the accounting and financial part of the local ERP system,
  • Tax administration and communication with local authorities on the matter (CIT, payroll tax, VAT, tax audits),
  • Communication with third party consultants in the field of VAT administration,
  • Communication with the parent company on Treasury topics,
  • Any other accounting/financial tasks as requested by management,
  • Communicating and coordinating with the finance management of the parent company,
  •  Internal coordination of all relevant stakeholders and management of budget preparation and forecasting,
  •  Statistical and other reports.

 

A detailed flowchart and allocation of tasks within the department will be maintained by

and updated by the Line Manager.



Qualifications

Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior position.

Special Knowledge/Skills: Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in financial management software and ERP systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools.

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

Leadership:

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and manage a team.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in managing audits and interacting with auditors.

Adaptability:

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
