Job Description

  • Basic and Detail Engineering of systems, components, and interfaces within budget limits and Scope of Works
  • Cross-system interface coordination with the technical project management and third parties, in particular clarifying the interfaces with other Lots
  • Preparation and Issue of detail calculations, PIDs, and engineering lists (e.g. piping, insulation, signals, E-consumers, etc.)
  • Preparation and Issue of functional descriptions (logic diagrams) for the programming of the functionality in the plant control system, incl. factory inspection tests
  • Preparation and Issue of the process systems main interlock list
  • Preparation and Issue of the risk analysis and HAZOP study
  • Preparation and Issue of the OM documentation and the operation manuals
  • Preparation and specification of instrumentation for the plant’s process systems
  • Efficient preparation of the technical specifications for components and systems, technical evaluation of bids and joint selection of suppliers
  • Responsible for the timely ordering of systems/lots within the scope of process engineering
  • Point of contact for process related issues in meetings with third parties (e.g. client, authorities)
  • Support of Commissioning activities and review of the plant process systems during test phase
  • Preparation and Issue of the process systems “as built” documentation after commissioning phase.


Qualifications

  • Relevant knowledge of systems and processes
  • Ability to independently develop and optimize systems and specifications
  • Understanding of PID diagrams, proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to define functional descriptions
  • Fluency in English
