Job Description

  • Monitor the progress of critical systems, review MPRs (Monthly Progress Report) issued by each supplier and release in PIRS (on behalf of SQM).
  • Inform SQM if any Suppliers got MPRs commented or similar, make sure all MPRs are reviewed on-time and commented is any.
  • Support SQM for review Inspection reports coming from inspector at supplier premises.
  • Review contractual documents before review MPRs and/or Inspection reports.
  • Release Inspection reports in PIRS (on behalf of SQM).
  • Assist SQM to rate supplier performances once PO completed (with assigned KPIs).
  • Assist SQM to define QC inspector to be assign to each inspection activity as planned in QCP-W (in LMS).
  • Willing to travel (if required within by SQM and confirmed by PD) for some meeting at suppliers’ premises and/or any travel to HZI HQ as per eventual project requirements.
  • Project Expediting Experiences.
  • The level of Expediting and inspection shall guarantee the lTPs and fabrication schedule fulfilment, therefore shall verify that suppliers are perfectly in line with sub orders, incoming material status, fabrication progress, document submission, issue the coming inspection points (SP, W, H).
  • Follow up any deviation/NCR raised by inspectors during fabrication, shipping list submission and final shipping release.
  • To detect risks of slippages or delays in the workshop activities, that could lead to a negative impact on the contractual final delivery dates
  • Able To use Hitachi e-tool (PIRS and “N” Drive).
  • If required, Performs independently inspections at suppliers’ site in accordance with the ITPs & the QCP.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures during inspections; complies with legal regulations.
  • Carry on Visual and Dimensional inspection at supplier premises and record the results in proper Inspection report.
  • Expediting fabrication progress such us check raw material deliveries, number of fabricated parts/items compare with planned schedule etc.
  • Verify if material grades are following standard codes indicated into applicable ITPs.
  • Review supplier inspection reports, testing and certification if follow ITPs and standard code applicable.
  • Monitor/supervise welding activities (check If WPS/WPQ/WPQR are followed properly).
  • Verify the material traceability during fabrication.
  • Check tooling and equipment calibration are not expired and well maintained (according to ISO9001).
  • Review certification book (Quality documentation) issued by supplier.
  • Visual coating check, coating DFT measurement if are following std. code and ITP requirements.
  • Checks the existence of and compliance with the relevant rules and regulations


Qualifications

  • Relevant professional experience in plant construction or in one of the sub-areas as boiler, steel, apparatus, pipeline construction
  • NDT qualification at least VT level 2 and PT lev.2 (RT lev.2 film reading and UT lev.2 is a plus)
  • CSWIP Welding Supervisor certification as minimum (IWT or EWT international or European welding technologist or IWE or ASME inspector are a plus)
  • Experience in Coating Field (Coating qualification NACE/Frosio Level 2 is a plus)
  • Experienced to carry on inspection at supplier premises according to approved ITP and Technical specifications.
  • Familiar with main international codes such as EN-ISO/ASME-IX/PED.
  • Experienced working in international projects and environment is a plus.
  • ISO 9001:20015 and ISO14001:2015 certification is a plus
  • Willingness to travel (up to 100%)
  • Knowledge of non-destructive testing techniques owning recognised training certificates (e.g. ASNT, ISO 9712)
  • Able to read drawing
  • Able to read and interpreting supplier Manufacturing fabrication plan
  • To be able to prepare inspection reports
  • To be able to Expedite supplier premises based to real fabrication status compared with supplier manufacturing fabrication plan.
