Job description, responsibilities and duties

This role is responsible to provide a seamless operating of the IT business applications environment within the HZI Group. Organization of support, ticketing, system- and change management as well as team management and supplier management for all IT application relevant business partners.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Reports to Director Group IT
  • Manage and lead a physical and virtual team of IT business application managers and developers in CH, DE, SK
  • Monitor everyday operations of application development team and provide regular feedback.
  • Responsible for the development and enhancement of an efficient and business-oriented application landscape for CAE/COMOS, CAD/PDM, PIRS Primavera, tools and self-developed applications.
  • Responsible for the 1st and 2nd level support of IT applications and digitalization projects.
  • Manage and provide support to critical business application systems.
  • Managing of the application ownership meetings with the relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure training, skills of the IT application team and people development
  • Responsible for provider-, contract- and service management with the relevant suppliers
  • Responsible that relevant technical documentation is available
  • Responsible that relevant processes are in place and documented
  • Determine and analyze various processes and implement changes for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with IT strategy and policies including security, access rights and workflow requests
  • Responsible for the IT internal and external audits related to business applications (JSOX)
  • Monitoring and planning of internal projects regarding budget and change management
  • Monitoring of user management; license management and authorization management
  • Management of external partners and suppliers according the defined KPI’s and SLA’s
  • Perform research and develop new systems and applications for new and present systems.
  • Develop professional relations with customer and establish effective solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Managing budget for all IT business applications
