Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Overall site responsibility from start of mechanical and electrical erection works until take over.
  • Demonstrates leadership and commitment to HSEQ. Actively encourages and leads the HZI site team and contractor teams to implement and comply with project HSEQ requirements. Is responsible for the safety and HSE performance on site
  • Collaborates within site and project team organization and specialist departments
  • Co-ordinates the project/contract scope and interfaces with client and contractors
  • Documents and traces non-conformities, deviations and claims, change process on site, inputs for lesson and learn
  • Coordination of QC site process (including ITP, welding, erection inspections, site documentation evidence)
  • Co-ordinates closely with the Engineering Procurement Commissioning (EPC) project team whilst managing contractors around the mechanical and electrical package installation
  • Coordinate site deliveries, logistic, warehouse and inspection of deliveries.
  • Provides regular site reporting (including coordination of contractor and client reporting), archive records information into PIRS database

Job specific qualification:

  • authorized site manager for technological construction (Slovak chamber SKSI or similar)
  • experience working in the Energy from Waste / construction industry as a Site Engineer or similar position
  • Several years‘ experience in construction of industrial plants as Site Manager (supervisory of construction), experience with Commissioning is welcomed
  • Experienced as a leader of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) site management
  • Valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC) or equivalent – can be obtained/presented later
  • working knowledge of Microsoft suite applications
  • welding engineer qualification is welcomed
