HPE presence in Slovakia – main milestones

Present in the Slovak market since 1967. All operations of the company in Slovakia were then managed from the company office in Vienna. In 1979, HP created its business representation in Czechoslovakia.
1991 - new legal entity: Hewlett-Packard Československo
1993 - Digital Equipment Slovakia
1998 - Compaq Computer Slovakia, established after merger with Digital Equipment
2000 - the Slovak company changed its legal form. A former organizational unit was transformed to an independent legal entity – Hewlett-Packard Slovakia, s.r.o.
February 2003 - With regard to the worldwide, merger between HP and Compaq. Hewlett-Packard Slovakia became legal successor
October 2011 - For HP in Slovakia works more than 1800 employees
2012 – 2000 employees (3 buildings + Volkswagen)
November 2015 - HP separated into two new independent fortune 50 companies :
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Hewlett Packard Inc. (HPI)

HPE Graduate development program

HPE Graduate Program is a structured development program for a period of 12 – 24 months during which fresh graduates will get the opportunity to participate on different trainings and presentations and so will be able to better develop their skills for given areas and particular positions.
