Release Manager

We are looking for a new colleague, a Release Manager, who will join our Corporate Project Management Office, section Release Management, with the main responsibility of Cloud Release Management, its cross-company coordination and continuous improvement of the release process. Our expectation is to strengthen the Release Management team with another team member who can bring additional experience to the Cloud Release area.

As a Release Manager, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing mainly our cloud release processes, act as backup of on-prem release manager and cooperating with other release managers. This role with focus mainly on cloud release management involves coordinating (pre)production staging and ensuring smooth and efficient release cycles across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and improve cloud release processes to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Coordinate activities related to (pre)production and staging environments.
• Collaborate with various teams to unify and streamline release procedures.
• Develop strategies to optimize release cycles and minimize risks.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies throughout the release process.
• Ensure that releases of new products or their minor updates (such as hot-fixes or service releases) are handled in the shortest time possible.
• Negotiation and release planning for product releases with stakeholders across the company.
• Formal communication of all releases to all relevant stakeholders across the company through several channels
• Coordination of release activities such as Pre-release announcements to regional offices, partners and other communities, customized installation packages for different markets (customers or language versions), configuration and verification of appropriate license rules, update of documentation (online help, knowledge-base, etc.), post-release verification and facilitation of issue resolution & maintenance of product release history
• Act as deputy of other release managers.

Essential Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in cloud release management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies and software development life cycles.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• English Level (min. B2)
