Experienced Python Software Engineer

ESET, a world-renowned pioneer in cybersecurity, invites you to join our quest to safeguard the digital landscape. We are in pursuit of a seasoned Python Software Engineer to be a cornerstone in the evolution of our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) backend infrastructure.

Position Overview

As an experienced Python Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in advancing our internal MDR backend systems, fostering integrations with diverse modules, refining our DevOps pipelines, and contributing to the collection and analysis of data.

You'll be an integral member of our Automated Systems and Solutions Department, located in the bustling city of Bratislava, collaborating with a dedicated team of five professionals. You will play a strategic role in actualizing our project vision, meticulously ensuring that each phase prioritizes the integrity of our solutions without compromising on quality for the sake of expediency.

Our tech stack includes Python, FastAPI, SQL, ORM, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, JIRA, Confluence, and Git.

Candidate Profile

Are you the ideal candidate? We are in search of a driven individual with a Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Cybersecurity. Your profile should showcase extensive Python programming expertise, underscored by a commitment to crafting clear, maintainable code. At least basic proficiency in Linux, CI/CD (Jenkins), and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is essential. Insight into computer security, network security, or reverse engineering will distinguish your application.
