Junior Vue/React Frontend Developer

We seek a versatile, flexible web developer with the ability to learn fast and adapt to new technologies.
Our team of 18 is passionate, smart, and innovation is what we aim for. We build websites for visitors around the globe (200,000 visitors per day) and educate them on how to protect themselves against cybersecurity threats.

What you'll do:

• Develop new features for ESET’s global websites, including eset.com, esetscienceaward.sk, support.eset.com, welivesecurity.com, digitalsecurityguide.eset.com, saferkidsonline.eset.com, and more.
• Actively participate in daily stand-ups, bi-weekly SCRUM sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews, focusing on targeted objectives for efficient development.
• Proactively acquire new skills, writing code that is easily readable, modifiable, and conducive to automated testing for robust solutions.

We are looking for:

• You’re a frontend developer with knowledge of Vue or React library. Ideally, you can be proficient in both.
• You´ve got previous job experience with frontend development.
• You’re familiar with Docker.
• Good English skills (B2).
• You are highly motivated, proactive and self-confident.
• You prefer to use best practices for coding, testing and technical documentation.
• You're willing to help us implement them.
• You are familiar with receiving code reviews and clean code principles.
• You’re interested in emerging technologies and excited to help push the boundaries of ESET’s websites.
