Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for developers who will work on a greenfield project that will be used by our partners and customers. The web application will be based on ASP.NET Core, React and Cloud technologies.

What does working as C#/.NET Developer entail?

- Collaborating with the team on designing, implementing, and maintaining new features and services
- Working with the team to improve DevOps concepts used in the project - continuous integration and delivery, infrastructure as a code and cloud concept (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, FaaS)
- Participating in all parts of the high-performing agile team ceremonies like daily stand-ups, planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives
- Proposing and discussing possible changes and optimizations to cloud architecture of the project utilizing cutting-edge cloud concepts and cloud components
- Ensuring the code quality by working closely with our QA team and by creating automated tests
- Assume responsibility and ownership for assigned architectural components, services or technologies
- Providing support and code review within and across teams

• English - Intermediate (B1)

Nice to have:

• Experience with automated tests (Selenium, Robot framework, SpecFlow, …)
• Experience with CI/CD

Brief description of the company

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses. They did not know that they had created one of the most successful antivirus programs in the world – dubbing it NOD. In 1992, together with their mutual friend Rudolf Hrubý, they formally established ESET.
