Software Engineer (Frontend with PHP / Full Stack)

We build websites for visitors around the globe (200,000 visitors per day) and educate them how to protect themselves against cybersecurity threats. If you are versatile, flexible web developer with the ability to learn fast and adapt to new technologies we need you to shape the future of our global websites.

You will:

• develop new features for ESET’s global websites (www.eset.com, support.eset.com, www.welivesecurity.com and more) and see the results of your efforts in a matter of days
• participate in daily stand-ups, bi-weekly sprint plannings, and sprint retrospectives for the team
• participate in ongoing learning opportunities to help us acquire new skills or deepen existing expertise
• actively participate in the whole process of development, from initial design to deployment and support
• communicate with colleagues to refine application design
• suggest and implement high-tech, innovative solutions
• write maintainable code with extensive test coverage
• work with source control, dev/stage/prod release cycle and continuous integration
• actively involved in the code and functional reviews of fellow developer’s work
• optimize application for maximum speed, scalability and maintainability
