Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a committed recruiting specialist who is responsible for providing high level of staffing services to ESET HQ.

This position delivers high quality professional candidates and advances the ESET brand across market and professional communities, while helping hiring managers and candidates through the ESET selection process.

- Manage the entire recruiting life cycle from candidate generation through direct sourcing, interviewing, checking references and closing candidates
- Confer with managers to identify personnel needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments
- Understand the business technology, product and culture in order to sell the company to prospective candidates
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
- Create and implement a social media recruiting strategy
- Develop and implement other creative recruiting strategies for attracting candidates on a proactive basis
- Proven experience and ability to headhunt passive and semi-passive candidates
- Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
- Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches and other recruiting activities
- Build a talent pipeline of technical professionals to meet current and future internal staffing needs
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent
- Provide recruiting analytics to the HR Business Partners
- Act as liaison with recruitment agencies when necessary. Maintain contact with various sources to meet headcount needs (job fairs, employment agencies, social media)
- Represent ESET at recruitment fairs, trade shows, universities and community events
- Understand market trends and come up with creative ideas to address competitive recruitment

Requirements for the employee

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Experience in full lifecycle recruiting is a must (IT positions - welcomed)
- A knowledge in all full lifecycle recruiting components including sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing
- Demonstrated business acumen in understanding hiring manager needs and applying appropriate recommendations
- Displays the highest level of professionalism
- Project management, organization, writing, and oral communication skills
- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
- English: advanced (B2)


Brief description of the company

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses. They did not know that they had created one of the most successful antivirus programs in the world – dubbing it NOD. In 1992, together with their mutual friend Rudolf Hrubý, they formally established ESET.

What started as the brainchild of a few friends has evolved into the most valuable international brand of any Slovak company. Today ESET’s NOD32 technology protects over 100 million users across the world.

This success did not come overnight. The company’s global success and growth was given a boost in 1998 with its first “VB100” award from the prestigious Virus Bulletin magazine. Since then, we’ve received this accolade more than 100 times.
