about the position

Purpose of the job:

The Experience Designer is part of the „A-Team“ (Automation team) in the Service Line Customer Finance International and responsible for Innovative development of the design of automation products and services with regard to quality and usability as well as use cases and user stories and the development of prototypes/click dummies. On top of that the harmonisation of design & function under user experience aspects is a main goal. This is for all areas of the service line Customer Finance.

Job content:

• Developing the design of products and services in an innovative way in terms of both quality and usability
• Identifying and visualizing the needs of users
• Planning and creating high-level designs based on data, market analyses, user feedback, and technical prerequisites
• Formulating use cases, user stories and preparing development documentation
• Developing prototypes/click dummies for carrying out testing among selected customer groups; planning, implementing, and analysing selected user tests during development
• Designing test case scenarios
• Preparing, establishing, and improving customer-centric design solutions
• Advising on the optimization of applications

The salary for this position is from 1500 gross.
The published salary is the minimum possible offer. The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee's requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills).

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and German - Intermediate (B1)

Personality requirements and skills

University business degree (Master’s or PhD) or equivalent qualification with appropriate additional qualifications (internal/external)

• Several years of experience in design (using design thinking principles), project management in business environment (customer finance experience beneficial)
• A strong command and knowledge of contemporary design tools (e.g. Sketch, InVision, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Zeplin and OmniGraffle) and Python is beneficial
• Very strong experience with designing customer centric solutions based on the customer wishes and desires
• Experience as a member of agile projects; international projects experience is beneficial
• Ideally experience with shared services
• Experience with JIRA beneficial

Language knowledge:
English (fluent) and German (B1/B2)
