Purpose of the job:
Establish and maintain a high quality automated reporting process for Customer Finance functions and create management reports with benchmarking across Deutsche Telekom Group.

Job content:
• Creation of internationally standardized Customer Finance Reports for the Top management and the relevant finance areas in the Deutsche Telekom National companies.
• Regular monitoring and analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) across all Customer Finance functions in Order-to-Cash end-to-end process (Credit Management, Billing, Accounts Receivables, Collection, Business Assurance, Fraud management).
• Establish a Customer Finance balanced scorecard and continious evaluation of the KPI relevance for management steering over process quality, efficiency and effectivness of the Customer Finance functions across DT Group.
• Analyzing the reasons for the deviations in the development of all monitored KPIs, initiating measures for improvement based on the results.
• Maintain regular contact to all responsible persons across DT Group for reporting of the Customer Finance KPIs, organize exchange sessions for presentation of results and collecting requests for update of the KPI set.
• Automation of the reporting process from gathering input KPIs from all DT subsidiaries, central processing and calculation to generation of final reports in shortest period of time with high level of quality and accuracy.
• Initiate and manage international projects, both strategic and technical, for improvement of the reporting process.
• Implementation of external and internal benchmarks, as well as development of strategic changes in the respective specialist functions (Credit Management, Billing, Accounts Receivables, Collection, Business Assurance, Fraud management).
• Evaluation of industry standards for management steering of Customer Finance functions, and independent setting of DT own standards, beyond the industry standard.
• Maintenance the KPI definitions with regular updates, as well as set of best practise targets for each of Customer Finance functions.
• Monitor the ICS (Internal Control System) process of Customer Finance: make certain that appropriate risk coverage is given and assure the quality of the evaluation of control deficiencies and counteracting measures.
• Setup and manage delivery processes from diverse data sources to different target systems; proposing and implementing technical solutions and process improvements.
• Design, create, implement and test detailed concepts for reporting purposes and its improvement.

The salary for this position is from 1300€ gross.
The published salary is the minimum possible offer. The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee's requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills).

Personality requirements and skills

Requirements:

Education:
University degree in fields of Computer Science or Business Administration with a strong focus on information technology and / or reporting

Language knowledge:
English fluent, German advantage

PC skills:
MS Office (Access, VBA, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Other skills:
• Process knowledge in one or more Customer Finance functions (Credit Management, Billing, Accounts Receivables, Collection, Business Assurance, Fraud management).
• Ability to understand Order-to-Cash end-to-end process
• Experience with management information systems / reporting systems (e.g. Microstrategy, Infor BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Lumira, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Power BI, etc.)
• MS Access skills
• Experiences in OLAP databases or any multidimensional databases are beneficial.
• Knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Essbase is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel abroad (25%)
• Strong communication, multi culturural, negotiation and presentation skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to plan and organize work
