about the position

With your new position you take over the support of the telecommunication operators within Deutsche Telekom group regarding credit scoring and data mining activities to foster profit based decision making in credit management.

Your main task is the on-site development and maintenance of credit and profit scoring models to steer the automated credit check decision for residential and SME customers, the identification of new data sources and the support of the local credit management experts in accessing and analyzing data.

In addition you will:
• Ensure that a group-wide consistent value maximizing approach is used for credit check and credit limit monitoring operations.
• Support of projects for optimization and standardization
• Develop machine learning logistic regression algorithms for information extraction, classification and prediction and build PD models
• Develop and implement advanced methods for model validation.
• Identify available data resources within the company and develop and evaluate potential new usage ideas
• Act as a trainer and foster new data science skills development for colleagues across Europe
