In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 3 800 € /brutto. We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to direct the Architecture of our multicloud environment. The candidate will be part of a strong global team that is the key driver of this development and will help DT meet its objective of becoming a leader in our industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the cloud architecture strategy, ensuring optimal utilization of cloud resources, and driving innovation in alignment with business objectives. As the primary authority on cloud technology, the Head of Cloud Architecture will lead a team of skilled architects, collaborate with key stakeholders, and oversee the design and implementation of scalable and secure cloud solutions across multiple platforms. This role includes architectural oversight of DT’s complete infrastructure footprint including public cloud, private cloud, and on-premises infra as well as horizontal enablers such as Kubernetes, DBaS, and Identity & Access Management.
What will you do?
In the following areas You will:
1. Cloud Strategy and Vision - Develop and articulate a comprehensive cloud architecture strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals and supports its multi-cloud environment.
2. Leadership and Team Management - Lead and mentor a team of architects across cloud domains, providing guidance, direction, and professional development to ensure the team's success in delivering high-quality solutions.
3. Technology Innovation - Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices. Drive innovation by introducing new technologies that enhance the organization's cloud capabilities.
4. Multi-Cloud Design and Optimization - Design and optimize multi-cloud architectures that maximize performance, security, and cost efficiency. Ensure seamless integration between various cloud platforms.
5. Collaboration with Stakeholders - Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide strategic recommendations, and align cloud solutions with organizational objectives.
6. Security and Compliance - Establish and enforce cloud security and compliance standards. Work closely with the security and privacy teams to implement robust measures for data protection and privacy while enabling high velocity solution delivery
7. Governance and Best Practices - Develop and implement cloud governance policies and best practices. Ensure adherence to standards, guidelines, and frameworks for cloud architecture.
8. Cost Management - Implement strategies for cost management and optimization of cloud resources. Monitor and analyze cloud usage to identify opportunities for efficiency.
9. Vendor Management - Collaborate with cloud service providers, manage vendor relationships, and stay informed about updates and offerings to leverage the latest technologies.
You will succeed if you:
- Proven experience (7+ years) in infra/cloud architecture or leadership roles.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms in particular AWS and GCP.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
