1 800 EUR/monthFinal salary is negotiable. We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1800 € /brutto.

We are currently starting to develop new solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), where you, as a Data Engineer, will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data infrastructure and pipelines that enable efficient data processing, storage, and analysis. With a focus on GCP transformation (migration current Big Data and DWH solutions to Google cloud), you will be responsible for driving the migration, modernization, and optimization of data infrastructure and workflows onto GCP. Your collaboration with other cross-functional teams will ensure the successful adoption of GCP services and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. With your expertise rising, you can soon be promoted to a Senior Data Engineer and chase the Lead Data Engineer position in the future. What will you do?
- You will analyse, design, develop and implement multiplatform cloud products in order to provide the customer with a cloud solution
- You will analyse customer demands and available data, clarify requirements with business stakeholders
- You will design & implement cloud data infrastructure, ETL & ELT or Machine learning jobs and data processing framework services, test & document them
- You will collaborate on definition of architecture, methodology and software engineering processes
- You will be mentoring and providing guidance to junior data engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment to promote professional growth and development within the team.
You will succeed if you:
- Have minimum 2 years experience with Google cloud platform in regards to DataFlow, DataFusion, etc.
- Have excellent skills and knowledge of Python programming language and Java
- Are experienced with Apache Airflow-based orchestration services, with deployment of applications to GKE
- Are an expert in SQL/no SQL databases, Data Warehouse, Big Data technologies and BigQuery
- Have experience with Spark, Hadoop, Kafka and ETL/ELT process
- Are advanced at Soft skills such as Communication, Team Cooperation
- Are an Expert at Analytical skills and problem solving
- Speak English minimum on B2 level
