1 300 EUR/monthFinal salary is negotiable. We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits.

Main purpose of your job as Linux Server Engineer is to perform, coordinate and improve most complex activities (3rd level environment) needed to provide IT services and the supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPI’s. Plan, implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organization’s business processes. Your job is also to identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.
What will you do?
- You will propose and perform regular inspections and improvement recommendations.
- Diagnose and resolve complex tickets related to IT infrastructure.
- Investigate the root cause of complex incidents and then initiate actions to improve or correct the situation.
- Compute node architecture engineering.
- Assess actual performance of IT infrastructure against its predicted performance. Any deviations between the two should be understood and proactively remediated, with vendors if necessary.
- Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.
- Serve as technical lead to provide clear and comprehensive release and deployment plans.
You will succeed if you:
- Speak English at least on upper intermediate (B2) level. German language is an advantage.
- Have professional experience of at least 3 years in enterprise environment and have knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Have professional experience in IP network, server & storage know how, are an expert in Lenovo server management tools, have scripting know-how (Bash, Ansible).
- Are experienced in performance measurement tools and have deep knowledge in compute node architecture.
- Are advanced at soft skills necessary for the role of Linux server engineer, such as effective communication, analytical thinking, presentation and negotiation skills.
