1 850 EUR/monthFinal salary is negotiable. We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits.

Main purpose of your job as Senior Linux Engineer is to perform, coordinate and improve most complex activities (3rd level environment) needed to provide IT services and the supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPI’s. Plan, implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organization’s business processes. Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.
What will you do?
- Propose and perform regular inspections and improvement recommendations.
- You will diagnose and resolve complex tickets related to IT infrastructure.
- Investigate the root cause of complex incidents and then initiate actions to improve or correct the situation.
- Compute node architecture engineering.
- Hardware Lab for CPU, Nic, Server Roadmaps for Lenovo, HPE, Dell.
- Assess actual performance of IT infrastructure against its predicted performance. Any deviations between the two should be understood and proactively remediated, with vendors if necessary.
- Serve as technical lead to provide clear and comprehensive release and deployment plans.
You will succeed if you:
- Speak English at least on upper intermediate (B2) level. German language is an advantage.
- Have professional experience of at least 5 years in the field and knowledge of the ITIL processes.
- Have professional experience with Basic IP network, server & storage know how and deep knowledge in compute node architecture, are and expert in performance measurement tools.
- Are an expert in Lenovo server management tools and have scripting know how (Bash, Ansible).
- Are advanced at soft skills necessary for the role of Senior Linux Engineer, such as effective communication, analytical thinking, team cooperation and presentation skills.
