What will you do?
Do you have an agile mindset and would you like to work in supportive environment? We are looking for Junior Scrum Master who will help us to foster the Agile principles in our software development teams.Junior Scrum Master is facilitating scrum framework in a scrum team, ensuring that all agreed agile processes are adhered. Is responsible for removing obstacles and creating a dynamic, successful working environment, in which targeted discussion and solving of problems is promoted with the focus on delivering the highest business value to the customer.
Key accountabilities:
- Providing support to the Team using a servant leadership style
- Guiding the Scrum Team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers
- Guiding the Scrum Team on how to get the most out of self-organization.
- Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments
- Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame with an emphasis of healing and problem solving
- Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
- Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and spreading information
You will succeed if you:
Experience:- Suitable for candidates who possess the theoretical knowledge about scrum framework without practical experience as scrum master
Certifications:
- Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM ) - advantage
IT Technical skills:
- General IT overview - Intermediate
Soft skills:
- Communication - Advanced
- Team Cooperation - Advanced
- Coaching and Mentoring - Intermediate
- Facilitation - Intermediate
Other skills:
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
- Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
