What will you do?

• Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.

General description
ICT Engineer for Multi-Cloud Connectivity Platform (MCCP) is responsible for operations of the MCCP, supports development team in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines. Takes account and defines automated configuration management, release management, build, test and deployment activities of newest service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible mainly for platform operation, supporting changes on the platform, maintenance of the platform and INM resolution of the platform for the test and build infrastructure. Responsible for the operation of the network service automation system and management platforms for the complete stack.
• Cooperating with the Product Manager, Lead architect, Automation architect, Developers, SDM and OPM, vendors

Scope of work

• Good working troubleshooting skills
• Basic knowledge of automation stacks in relation to Cisco
• Cooperation with developers, platform engineering, vendors on new feature releases, upgrade procedures, PoC
• Work with interesting Cisco technology e.g. ACI, NSO, ESC, VIM, NFVi

Education / Certifications

• Cisco certification CCNA, CCNP level (or knowledge level) - must
• Cisco ACI knowledge - benefit
• Cisco CCNA DC certification/knowledge level - benefit

Skills

• Traditional networking, switching, routing
• BGP / IPsec / Basic QoS experience
• Cisco ACI experience – benefit
• Public clouds: basic knowledge (AWS, Azure, Google)
• Able to document/describe and explain technical outcomes
• Good working troubleshooting
• Analytical thinking
• Cisco NSO experience (optional)
• Experience in Testing methodologies, tools and frameworks
• An understanding of Network technology’s and principles

Experience

• 2+ years of experience of traditional networking

Experience with scripting, JSON, Ansible, Linux is welcome

Others

• Knowledge of the ITIL processes.
• Project Management, ability to work effectively within Agile and DevOps teams

Wage (gross)

1 300 EUR/monthBased salary start from 1300 € + variable part + other financial benefits. The final basic wage component can be adjusted accordingly to individual skills and experience of selected candidate.
