Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Plan preventive maintenance activities and develop maintenance routines
  • Plan annual shutdown activities.
  • Lubrication and vibration monitoring, walk-by inspections, NDT (non destructive testing) practices, temperature measurements, thermography. Ensure spare parts availability through warehouse control.
  • Guarantee compliance with OH&S and environment policies in the definition of maintenance plans and routines.
  • Determine and plan the necessary preventive actions to assure long term proper functioning of equipment and installations. Contribute to plan annual shutdown programs. Establish preventive maintenance plans in cooperation with Production Manager, Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Supervisors. Lead planning for all foreseeable operations (weekly, master, shutdown).
  • Support the Maintenance Manager in the elaboration and control of the maintenance budget, ensuring planning of costs. Responsibility for inventory level.
  • Develop and motivate its team, ensuring competencies and skills development according to technical innovations, plant or personal needs. Train and coach the maintenance team on preventive maintenance and maintenance routines. Ensure with his team (planners) efficient level of preparation and anticipation of all maintenance actions to be performed, based on history, condition monitoring, notifications and feed-back from work-orders.

  • 5 year experience in technical field
  • Experience with leading team of technicians/workers
  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering 
  • Knowledge of MAC (Maintenance Cement) - big advantage
  • Preventive Maintenance Certification preferred
  • SAP - advantage
  • Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Project 
  • AutoCad  
  • English Language - B2
