This is a unique opportunity for an exceptional strategic marketeer, located at the global Headquarters of ESET, Europe’s largest cybersecurity company. The Head of Global Strategic and Brand Marketing (GSBM) role includes attractive career progression opportunities within ESET Global Marketing, Corporate Strategy, Regional Leadership Roles, and beyond.
Reporting to the Global Marketing Director, the Head of GSBM drives the conceptualization, co-creation and alignment of market research/insight, long-term ESET brand, marketing strategies and programs, and analyst relations.

Essential functions and responsibilities

Insight:
  • Generate statistically valid, meaningful, and actionable insight on market, competitors, and customers, and collaborate with CRM to optimize data analytics

Strategy:
  • Shape the long-term company strategic choices in marketing: design marketing strategies, concepts and plans for ESET global brand, positioning, value proposition, propositions/offerings, pricing, communications, marketing partnerships & sponsorships
  • Set the marketing priorities and goals for Consumer, SME, and Corporate segments (portfolios) reflecting the analysis of portfolio teams, market trends and other inputs.

Lead Teams:
  • Manage 4 global strategic & brand marketing teams responsible for insight generation, strategic (& product) marketing, brand marketing, analyst relations
  • Prioritize and align projects of GSBM teams
  • Motivate the team members and make sure they learn and educate themselves

Execution:
  • Set targets for and guide integration/execution of global segment strategies and global marketing strategy via global product launches and lifecycle management, global marketing programs, sponsorships & partnerships, global brand marketing, global online marketing and global PR activities.
  • Ensure the communications delivered to customers, industry analysts and other target groups are in line with defined marketing strategy and executed programs.
  • Oversee and set launch dates and go to market strategies/activities
  • Drive measurement learnings from executed projects, develop global best practice marketing programs

Collaboration:
  • Actively build senior stakeholder relations and contribute to productive and close cooperation within marketing teams, and with product development/management, sales, technical platforms, finance, and HR/support teams
  • Setup/contribute to internal processes to increase efficiency of all marketing teams or teams involved in conceptualization, development and execution of marketing and brand strategies.
  • Ensure smooth execution of key ESET (periodic) processes for global marketing: business planning, budgeting, evaluations, operational activities, processes setup
