This role is built for you to become a member of the eDelivery DB2 team.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, implementation, upgrading, performance, security, patching and monitoring of the DB2 (including dpropr, HADR and TSAMP) and MQ environments
- Providing of statuses and updates based on the identified cadence
- Promoting an effective collaboration within the project team
Required Experience:
- Being familiar with DB2 Table Range partitioning
- Experience with DB2 Data Propagator (dpropr), knowledge of DB2 Replication (Q-Rep), an experience with DB2 HADR and TSAMP
- Being familiar with shell script and ideally having an experience with MQ Series
- Background experience with DB2 Administration
- DB2 Fed Databases, TSM for db2 backups and archive log maintenance knowledge
Preferred Experience:
- Demonstration of problem solving capability; an ability to provide examples of creative thinking; working with or leading small teams are beneficial/preferred
