Junior Financial manager - Controller

Your role

We are looking for a Financial Manager - Controller (Junior) to join our OS team.
Composed of 6 people, the Operational Support (OS) team is in charge of all activities related to finance (accounting, purchasing, business trip remuneration, planning...) and Human Resources (Recruiting, HR development, communication...) for its 90 employees.

In your role, you will be responsible for:
  • Monthly reporting of financial results
  • Completeness/relevancy of data provided by the external accounting company (e.g. general ledger)
  • Analysis and explanation of variance between actuals and plan
  • Costs analysis
  • Elaboration of various reports and ad-hoc analysis
  • Support by external projects
  • Support by Budget planning and quarterly updates
  • Support by transfer pricing documentation
  • Support to auditors
  • Legal review

This recruitment is in the context of a substitute for a duration of long-term absence followed by maternity and parental leave (around 2 years).

Your profile

We are looking for someone with :
  • a University education (Bachelor or Master degree)
  • an experience in a similar position (reporting/controlling): min. 2 years

About your skills:
  • Double entry book-keeping (mandatory – advanced level) / good knowledge in accounting
  • Microsoft Excel – Advanced/Expert level
  • MS Office (word, outlook, …) – Advanced level
  • Advanced english mandatory
  • Slovak speaker
  • Ability to communicate in an international business environment.
  • German and/or French are appreciated

  • Logical and analytical mindset, problem solving abilities
  • Good communication skills (written/oral) and good relational behavior
  • Ability to learn quickly and adaptability to changing/flexible environment
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliability
  • Proactivity and initiative spirit would be welcomed
