What does work as IT Business Analyst (Azure Solutions) entail?

Your tasks as an IT Business Analyst in ESET will be to elicit, analyze and validate stakeholders’ business needs and specify how to fulfill them. You will be a liaison between our internal business customers (mainly product management department) and software development teams.

Your main responsibilities will be to identify problems, risks and grey zones related to specific business needs. On top of that you will ensure that all requirements together with your outputs will be complete, consistent, clear and unambiguous. As a result of your work, you will create software requirement specification documents which will be used by developers, UX specialists and QA engineers.

The technologies used

For our various outputs in textual form such as functional specifications, we use Confluence. For tracking of tasks, we use JIRA. Enterprise Architect is used for modelling various processes and views, if needed, to support our work. Standard notations such as BPMN for business processes or UML for use cases are used, however focus is on readability for developers and other stakeholders.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Brief description of the company

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses. They did not know that they had created one of the most successful antivirus programs in the world – dubbing it NOD. In 1992, together with their mutual friend Rudolf Hrubý, they formally established ESET.
