Junior Performance Engineer

ESET is recruiting a talented, highly motivated Engineer to be a member of our Performance testing team in Bratislava office. You will be responsible for all aspects of performance testing of our products, i.e. defining/reviewing testing methodologies, performance metrics and test scenarios, and executing tests using various tools.

You will undergo intensive training program with the assistance of a senior mentor. The goal is to develop your skills & knowledge necessary to fulfil the role. You will get familiar with performance testing methodologies, how to cover all aspects of performance testing of our products, executing tests using various tools, analysing and reporting results.

As a Junior Performance Engineer, your responsibilities are:

• Involvement (to various degree) in all aspects of performance testing.
• Defining and reviewing performance tests for various products.
• Maintenance and development of performance testing infrastructure.
• Identify and track defects.
• Cooperate in definition of requirements and tests.
• Define and prepare environment for performance tests (Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS & Android, basic database administration, etc.).
• Identify opportunities for automation.
• Cooperate and prepare documentation.

As a Junior Performance Engineer, you will get:

• Awareness & knowledge about performance testing.
• Awareness & knowledge about our automated testing tools (Robot Framework, Selenium, etc.).
• Experience with use of various performance testing tools (MS WBAM, etc).
• Experience with use of various automation tools (Jenkins, etc.).
• Network infrastructure knowledge.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git, etc.)
• Know how to utilize browser development tools.
• Skills how to prepare and configure advanced test environments using VMware (Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS & Android, basic database administration, etc.).
