Job description, responsibilities and duties
The strategic role for a senior buyer having profound experience with high spends negotiations (10 mil. EUR+), ideally in the technical (CAPEX) field within some international company. This is a standalone senior role. Reporting to a Procurement Team Leader.
• strategically and operationally manage a part of CAPEX portfolio from RFQ to contract signing. Monitoring of contract fulfilment, deadlines.
• work closely with CAPEX project team members (mainly technical engineers – technology, civil, electric & automation), having ability to challenge them in exploring alternative concepts, suppliers and sustainable cost effective solutions
• deliver optimal supplier solutions, matching the technical requirements with TCO approach
• analyze all supplier recommended price changes and negotiating, implementing and managing supply agreements and contracts.
• claim management
