Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, a global partner for mechanical components, is actively seeking to hire a Manufacturing / Process Engineer for machining operations. This position will be responsible for evaluating, designing, developing and adapting tools, machines, mechanically functioning equipment and mechanical industrial processes. Will provide on-sight support for manufacturing issues within the plant in Slovakia.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for the engineering and related functions of some assigned manufacturing operation (milling, drilling, grinding, turning, tools production)
• Methods, processes and procedures analysis and work simplification techniques;
• Analysing and processing engineering change requests;
• Subcontracting of tools;
• Reviews designs and makes recommendations for modification according to production capabilities;
• The setup and maintenance of labour standards; machinery, equipment, layouts;
• Troubleshooting technically challenging problems (machinery, equipment, processes);

Requirements:
• Technical education, engineering focus
• At least 3-5 years of experience with CNC machinery and related operations- milling, grinding, cutting, turning
• Experience from mechanical components mass production is a must
• Experienced in CNC programming (ideally for Fanuc, Siemens)
• Able to work efficiently in team environment, as well as independently
• Proven communication skills
• Communicative English, able to solve technical topics
