Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking to hire a senior manager, business lead level, who will be part of the original design, build and deploy project team. This is a very attractive opportunity that enables the candidate to join the Project Team during the Design and Build of the overall Procurement support services (Procure to Pay).
The Process Lead will provide leadership and direction to the team that will deliver services within Accounts Payable, Vendor Payments, Contract Administration and other Procurement support. He / She will be responsible for creating an environment and culture that drives process improvement activities, meets or exceeds service level requirement targets and provides superior customer service. The initial project work will require frequent travelling inside Europe.
Main Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership in all design/build components of Procure to Pay process during the project phase and later in functioning of the Business Centre
• Responsible for process stream during project implementation – processes, recruiting, knowledge transfer, and training
• Provide process and master data (vendor and material) expertise
• Plan, organize and define roles for team
• Liaise with key business partners
• Directly supervise process team
• Provide performance feedback and coaching to team members
• Develop staff training needs and documentation
• Foster teamwork and communication within and across organizational boundaries
• Establish process performance indicators
Required Experience / background:
• Degree with a major in finance, business or accounting
• MBA or equivalent preferred
• 10+ years of practical experience - previous stream lead experience from a shared service centre is a must
• Procurement experience is an asset
• Proven track record in leading and motivating teams
• Excellent customer service skills
• Broad based experience in Accounts Payable within accounting and financial systems, preferably SAP
• Project management experience preferred
• Ability to plan, assign and direct work
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
