We are excited to announce an opening for a Procurement Specialist Data to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role focuses on the strategic procurement of third-party data essential for the reinsurance and insurance sectors, including financial markets information, market risk data, ratings, ESG data, and more. The position offers a unique opportunity to delve into a broad range of data procurement, catering to complex and highly interesting use cases and requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Spearhead the procurement of a wide array of third-party data, ensuring access to critical market insights and analytics.
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage the full lifecycle of contracts from initiation to completion, including legal reviews and vendor due diligence.
• Conduct comprehensive RFx processes, followed by meticulous contract management to uphold high standards of compliance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs, fostering insights into reinsurance and insurance business processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure digital governance compliance, contributing to the strategic goals of the organisation.

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree, ideally in Economics, Business Administration, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management.
• You possess 3-4 years of experience in data procurement or a related field, within a global organisation.
• Your negotiation skills are top-notch, with a proven track record of achieving significant cost savings and service improvements.
• Detail-oriented and process-driven, you are committed to high standards of quality and compliance.
• You have excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of another language, especially German, is a plus).
• You are proactive, a keen problem solver, and enthusiastic about continuous learning and contributing to customer success.
