About the team

We are responsible for running end-to-end process of the Claims, cash flow, data quality of the respective portfolio and paying claim settlements to our clients sometimes even of Natural catastrophes you can read about in the media.

You will join a very experienced and highly motivated team of Claims Examiners that are handling reinsurance claims for the Claims unit in EMEA.


About the role

In your role, you will be responsible for handling reinsurance accounts and claims in an end-to-end contractual fulfilment responsibility, ensuring business deliverables are met (quality output within the turnaround times defined) through adequate understanding of Reinsurance contractual conditions. You will own responsibility for an assigned portfolio and collaborate with business partners internally and externally. You will be processing and verifying the reinsurance accounts received towards the treaties set in the system. Main scope of your intervention will be in European markets.


Key responsibilities:

• Administration and accounting of documents received from clients according to treaty terms and agreements, timely management of overall cash flow
• Data quality control and risk management related activities according to internal guidelines
• Capture accurate claim information and proactively handle claims including indexation by referring to claim advice after checking contract documents/conditions. • Data analysis and reporting (MS Excel, PowerBI)
• Ensure that the agreed priorities, timelines and service standards are achieved


Our responsibilities require regular interactions with peers and experts from other locations to deliver best service, therefore English language is necessary.

You have good verbal and written business communication skills and you are able to solve business problems using own initiative and common sense.


Essentials:

• University degree preferably in the area of finance, accounting, economics or Secondary economic school or Secondary grammar school
• English language proficient written and spoken
• Good comprehension of MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point) and analytical skills • Ability to read and interpret data

• Previous experience with (Re)Insurance or Banking, Accounting or Finance processes
• Excellent teammate and willingness to share and support
