Job description, responsibilities and duties
The Data Management & Insights (DMI) team´s mission is to make data accessible to internal clients without any barriers by transforming unstructured datasets to standardized formats. We are dynamic squad of 6 data professionals, ready to resolve all data related puzzles. By tackling any data challenges and creating rapid insights, we bring clarity to Life & Health Reinsurance in current data-driven world.
About the Role:
- In this role you will have the following key business responsibilities:
- Build data pipelines using Python, SQL, ETL or other tools, validate data transformations and identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform data quality checks, process improvements, application/system enhancements or end-user trainings.
- Lead and drive our projects and initiatives working with our technical colleagues/experts and internal clients.

Essentials:
- University degree in a relevant quantitative field, e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics or other / equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of SQL, Python
- Experience with data mapping, ETL processing and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) is a plus.
Nice to have:
- Experience handling large volumes of data in both structured and unstructured formats
-Understanding in data mining algorithms, and statistical modeling techniques
