About the Role

Within the Corporate Solutions Data Insights Organization, we are searching for an analytics engineer to partner with the business in elevating our insights to an industry-leading level. Specifically, the role will be responsible for:

• Building data assets to facilitate visualization for reporting purposes and deriving insights
• Reduce manual processes when it comes to delivering insights
• Deep dives into portfolios on an ad-hoc basis using state of the art analytical and machine learning frameworks
• Support our goal to upskill business users data analysis capabilities through mentoring and coaching

Based on experience and interest, this role has significant evolution potential to drive the future of analytics capabilities and achieve our ambition to be data driven.

About the Team

We are an international team of reporting and analytics engineers, who are very passionate about data. We have a strong focus on central data products, to provide metrics, reports or other analytics solutions that allow different functions to steer their business based on data-derived insights.

To achieve these goals, we seek to use innovative data sources and analytical models to improve traditional reporting capabilities by advanced visualizations and predictive insights.

• University degree in a relevant quantitative field, e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics or other / equivalent work experience
• Passionate about using data and technology to steer the business insights and maximize efficiency of processes
• Strong work ethic and self-starter who can deliver results quickly
• Good communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts
• Knowledge of insurance concepts preferred
• Knowledge of Spark SQL and PySpark will be a plus
