Key responsibilities:

-Driving the strategic business vision and mandate of making better use of our data, leveraging your expertise on our platforms, models, systems, and/or processes to enable the successful implementation of the global Data Strategy within Life and Health. Focus on links between functions, such as between Actuarial and TA, to leverage synergies in data analysis and reporting.
-Expanding on innovative ideas and specific needs that are generated from across the business to determine technical feasibility, define business requirements and assess holistic impact; supporting innovative ideas through development and implementation. Providing strong link and feedback with Global Service Leads (GSLs) (ie, Data Management, Account Validation, Business Bound, Portfolio Management, Valuation), as well as Pricing and Underwriting initiatives where relevant, to help maintain global alignment and consistency.
-Lead projects or initiatives relating to the Life and Health landscape, in alignment with GSLs / Capability Group leads and regional functional leads. Harnessing full global reach and creating collaboration across Life and Health processes and system landscapes, to ensure that initiatives are tackled with a global mindset while also delivering on regional needs.
-Providing expertise in system knowledge and/or data management processes to regional L&H functional leads, assisting with development of local business users. For example, this could include trouble-shooting complex queries relating to revenue and statistical accounts, by applying analytical process thought and knowledge of end-to-end revenue and statistical data flows, and/or innovating new processes to help business users to 'self-service' new types of queries more systematically in the future. This could require connecting the revenue and statistical data elements to support reporting requirements across the business, including cross referencing differing reporting platforms to provide direction and understanding to figures produced, while also thinking innovatively about how the process could be improved in the future.
-Closely collaborate with wide range of Life & Health, Operational Excellence, and Data stakeholders and develop and lead presentations to senior stakeholder groups including the BM Operations Leadership Team, the Data Management Leadership Team, the Reinsurance Data Office, and others.
-Tracking new technical advancements and keeping up to date on technology advances to help keep momentum in moving towards a future ready state in data handling and reporting.
