The FP&A Global Product Controlling Sub-Team is looking for a highly motivated person who's interested to work in a demanding and changing environment helping to lead the financial analysis, reporting (Nominal, USGAAP and Economic Value Management) and planning for the Corporate Solutions business unit. Specifically, you will be responsible for Corporate Solutions' global growth initiative Primary Lead in respect of budgeting & projections, preparation of management reports, performance reviews, as well as leading the development of specific reporting, budgeting and projection routines.
This position offers a unique opportunity to get a strong overview of Corporate Solutions product lines, regions and Finance Corporate Solutions.

Key responsibilities include:
• Lead/develop all specific closing, projection and planning requirements and routines that will ensure a timely and accurate quarterly closing and annual planning process
• Lead/develop, in coordination and collaboration with the Primary Lead International Business Team, the quarterly performance reporting and review (Nominal, US GAAP and Economic Value Management), ensuring an efficient region, product or program consolidation process and support financial impact variance analysis for cohesive explanations of the Primary Lead results in close cooperation with Regional CFO's and Market leads
• Prepare quarterly standard reports on aggregated data by pre-defined level of details (e.g product area across regions)
• Support the Primary Lead Initiative business in its growth ambitions and act as a challenger where necessary
• Provide transparency and actively challenge the robustness of Finance process and interfaces The ability to perform the above tasks with a high degree of autonomy, but leveraging on and working closely with all relevant stakeholders to deliver on clearly attributed goals and objectives is key
• Lead/facilitate the coordination and setup of IT infrastructure to ensure Primary Lead Initiative reporting requirements are met
• Ensure proper governance routines are established and followed
• Global ad-hoc requests support

The ability to perform the above tasks with a high degree of autonomy, while leveraging on and working closely with all relevant stakeholders

About the team:
Corporate Solutions Global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team supports managing and steering the financial performance of the business unit Corporate Solutions and its regional management teams. We are further developing and strengthening financial steering capabilities to build a robust business plan supporting business growth and act as a challenger to the business.

Working within the Finance Corporate Solution team, you will join a highly motivated and dynamic team within an interesting and complex environment and will get the opportunity to build up reporting, consolidation & analytical capabilities.

Requirements for the employee

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

Educational/Professional
o University graduate with a primary or higher degree (or equivalent), preferably in finance/accounting/economics and with at least 3 years of relevant working experience
o Experience from insurance/reinsurance industry is an advantage
o Previous FP&A and Controlling skills desirable. Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into report/presentations design and processes
o Strong ability to analyse and interpret financial data

Key skills and knowledge
o Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver quality output on short deadlines and manage details without losing site of the "big picture"
o Strong communication skills, in particular ability to summarize complex technical issues to a non-expert audience. Flexibility to work in both a collaborative team environment as well as independently
o Capable of building trust with all areas of the business in particular with the Primary Lead teams and FP&AP
o Ability to translate business initiatives into clear, actionable strategies
o Agile and flexible, ability to operate within a changing environment. Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and prioritize
o Capable of building trust with all areas of the business including Actuarial and Finance colleagues
o Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
o Stress resilient, with the ability to work independent
o Ability to manage details without losing sight of the "big picture"
o Demonstrate personal accountability for area of responsibility
o Experience in US GAAP / IFRS / Economic Value Management desirable
