About the role
As Chief Operations Officer, you will have a unique and exciting opportunity to join us: a diverse and motivated team, committed to delivering value and innovative services together with our clients and partners in the primary insurance space.

You will lead the Operations Department, and will be responsible for leading the end-to-end operating model, client service delivery, partner management, and end consumer servicing and claims handling. You drive the continued digitalization of the core insurance processes along our entire value chain, and you ensure the satisfaction of our B2B clients and end consumers with respect to our touchpoints and services.

You will work closely in cross functional teams across the unit. You will be a member of the Executive Team and will report to the unit's CEO.

Your responsibilities include:
- hold overall responsibility for operational services to our distribution partners and to our end consumers across Europe
- design, implement & monitor the operational services to our B2B partners and to our end consumers and drive the continuous digitalization of all related service items
- ensure that new partners are on-boarded onto the service model of iptiQ in an timely and efficient manner. Constantly identify and execute initiatives to optimize the on-boarding in order for iptiQ to realize its growth ambitions
- implement quality service control mechanism (NPS etc.) and ensure that they deliver above industry benchmarks results through delivering maximum client and customer satisfaction
- manage the different operation service hubs in Europe and ensure that new operational centers are established as per iptiQ’s growth strategy
- as part of the COO function you manage the underwriting and claims functions and ensure that all operational services of these functions are executed according to defined product and customer standards
- handle all operational risk and ensure that these are monitored
- hold overall responsible for the culture of operations with the goal to become an employer of choice

Minimum base salary for this job from 4000 EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits.

About you
- University degree
- In-depth understanding of end-to-end business processes in L&H primary insurance
- Significant experience in building and optimizing customer touchpoints, including technology-supported customer servicing and claims handling
- Understand the obstacles and opportunities presented by digitalization
- Bring excellent leadership and senior management skills
- Entrepreneurial and able to demonstrate commercial acumen when driving operations decisions
- Clear and effective communication with senior business leaders and project teams
- Fluent in English; fluency in other EU languages is a strong preference
