Job description, responsibilities and duties

In this role you are responsible for the development, implementation and execution of employee and community engagement programs and activities and internal and external communications to support Global Business Solutions (GBS). You will develop strategic employee engagement and communication plans to drive initiatives and culture change and Divisional and Departmental goals and objectives. Working with the Head Community Engagement and Community Engagement team members, this role supports engagement and communication activities within and between the Divisions' key office locations, across all GBS Departments and the organizational hierarchy structure.

You will have primary responsibility for driving employee engagement and communications activities for the Swiss Re Consultancy and Global Sourcing Departments. Additionally you will provide engagement and communications support for other GBS functions including Outsourcing, Robotic Automation Centre and Global Services, as necessary. Under general supervision, you will support these global teams helping promote and market our services and solutions within the Group. You will support GBS strategy, transformational initiatives, objectives and priorities, as well supporting Group Operations transformation initiatives, as necessary.

• Develop & Implement strategic communication plans, communication campaigns and communication activities
• Act as a consultant and advisor to GBS leadership on communications actions
• Develop messages and messaging to support Divisional & Departmental initiatives
• Assist leadership with relationship management and stakeholder engagement strategy and activities
• Promote GBS identity and value proposition and our solution offerings within the Swiss Re Group.
• Plan, develop and implement employee and community engagement programs to support the Division and GBS Departments.
• Develop and implement metrics and measurements to monitor communication effectiveness

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

A Bachelor degree, a professional degree in communications, or equivalent.
Ideally 10+ years of communications experience including internal and marketing communications.

• Ability to effectively deploy various communications channels/tools, including knowledge of social media applications and strategies.
• A results-driven, self-starter with a creative mindset who can operate with minimal supervision.
• Excellent MS Office skills.
• Strong planning/project management capability and demonstrated ability to be a good team player
• A healthy level of attention to details
• Fluent in English, along with fluency in other languages such as Slovak or German.
