Job description, responsibilities and duties
The Finance Corporate Solutions department is currently in a period of rapid change, due to external acquisitions and the embedding of functions formerly provided by other departments.
The Finance Corporate Solutions Integration Team is responsible for the financial integration of acquisitions and/or newly transferred functions until embedded in business as usual. US GAAP reporting to Group Finance is a newly embedded function and enables the publication of consolidated financial statements at group level. It is a primary function to be ensured for new but also for all existing Corporate Solutions entities.
The position holder is responsible for the timely and accurate filing of the US GAAP result from the Corporate Solutions entities to Group Finance in all required formats. The team is also supporting the entities and branches in accounting, controlling, financial analysis and reporting, according to local statutory and tax requirements as well as US GAAP accounting policies.

Main Tasks:
1. Responsible for timely and accurate submission of the financial data of Corporate Solutions Latin America, EMEA and Asia-Pacific legal entities to Group Finance into the Group Financial Reporting Application (GFA) structure
2. Responsible for monthly cost submission – mapping/allocating local expense items into the GFA structure
3. Responsible for segmenting monthly investment submissions
4. Responsible for quarterly submission of additional information on the group filing (AIQ)
5. Perform quality assurance, IGR controlling and monitoring, FX checks, review and approve account reconciliations
6. Assist in financial controlling and monitoring of Latin America, EMEA and Asia-Pacific legal entities; drive issue resolution as needed
7. Provide comprehensive analysis and business commentaries with respect to the accounting policy, reporting, monitoring and reconciliation activities according to management requirements
8. Ensure compliance with risk and control frameworks and audit requirements
9. Participate and support Finance related projects and perform ad hoc tasks as required
10. Identify and evaluate process improvement possibilities
