Job description, responsibilities and duties

General Accountability:
The Corporate Solutions Carrier Analytics Team is responsible for supporting the European carrier reporting teams with analysis, reports and accounting support according to Swiss and Luxembourg statutory accounting policies, and economic valuation principles for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Ltd and Swiss Re International SE. As a member of our team, you support us in the preparation process of the Legal Entity statutory plan for Swiss Re International SE and in the planning and pricing of the Intra Group Reinsurance program. You will as well support the legal entity capital steering and monitoring process. You provide comprehensive analysis and commentaries according to management requirements. Further you ensure compliance with the risk and control framework and audit requirements in your area of responsibility
Main Tasks
1. Support the production of the legal entity statutory plan in accordance with the requirements for the Luxembourg based Swiss Re International SE company
2. Coordinate the planning and pricing process for Intra Group Reinsurance
3. Support the legal entity capital steering and monitoring
4. Provide comprehensive analysis and commentaries according to the management requirements
5. Ensure compliance with the risk and control framework and the audit requirements
6. Support audit activities and prepare requested information and respective documentation
7. Participate in related Finance projects
8. Perform ad hoc tasks as required

Information about the selection process

1. Three or more years of work experience in the financial services industry (insurance / reinsurance business desirable)
2. Qualification in Accounting, Audit and/or university degree in Economics, Science or Business Administration
3. Profound knowledge regarding financial planning and statutory accounting
4. Experience in USGAAP/IFRS desirable
5. Experience in the use of standard bookkeeping software for financial accounting
6. Proven PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
7. Team player with clear communication skills
8. Engaging and motivating
9. Excellent command of the English language and French as a plus
