Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

In a team of business analysts you are responsible for the business aspects of global IT projects, focussing on Financial Accounting applications such as General Ledger (ERP), Invoice Processing and Payment Platforms.
Your main tasks are the analysis of business requirements, design, parameterizing, testing, rollout and user training of new components and ongoing support activities. You will be involved in all project steps with the potential of an assignment to own subprojects which you will manage independently.
Your job will include:
- Work out, discuss and analyse the requirements for new solutions and enhancements in close cooperation with business experts and application engineers
- Translate requirements into system specifications, covering all aspects of the new solution including parameterizing, test, organization of UAT and deployment
- Work closely with the programmers in the realisation phase and ensure correct understanding and implementation of business requirements
- Document the solution, both for internal and external use
- Plan and steer rollouts including user trainings
- Monitoring, maintenance and user support of productive processes
- Manage assigned subprojects in above-mentioned fields independently
- Communicate with (international) user community and decision makers

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- University education (Bachelor's degree), or University education (Master's degree)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- High level of abstraction, fast understanding and conceptual thinking
- Very good communication skills
- Readiness for close and open teamwork
- Very good command of English (written and spoken). German would be an asset
- Good knowledge/experience in MS Office, in particular MS Word and Excel
- Good finance and accounting skills would be an asset
- Experience in IT project work (especially as business analyst) would be an asset
