Hardware People Manager

Job Description

Sales Transaction Support operates as a values-driven team, we are trusted advisors to the business operations and we support all business units in all geographic areas.

Responsibility for end-to-end Business Partner contract management execution from a moment Business partner applies for the relationship with IBM till the contract is activated. This includes effective communication with Business Partner and/or IBM internal functions in order to provide sufficient service connected to the role.


Job Responsibilities

• Verify, cascade and measure department business performance objectives
• Communicate and negotiate with other organizations or departments to help meet department objectives
• Provide effective two-way communication and understanding within the department, with peers, with manager, and with business contacts
• Initiate and sustain customer relationships and use customer feedback to optimize customer satisfaction
• Manage business controls including audit readiness, budgets, safety / security
• Take actions to actively promote a motivated workforce and foster an environment for improvement, empowerment, motivation and high performance
• Enable the team to manage day-to-day operation and balance workload
• Assess risks and take appropriate action
• Utilize common worldwide processes and monitor adherence to maximize process effectiveness; recommend ways to improve worldwide common processes
• Manage HR processes including selection / hiring, PBC, ranking, conduct, career development, skill development, compensation, workforce diversity
• Facilitate team recognition & reward
• Support an empowered team through counseling, coaching , instilling trust and clarifying boundaries
• Participate in assigned task forces and projects
Improve climate as measured by the Employee Pulse Survey, and develop career opportunities.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Mandatory Skills:
