Manager of tax department

Our client is looking for an experienced Tax Manager with fluent English and deep knowledge of Tax Laws to deliver quality tax services, that will increase firm’s reputation. We offer an excellent opportunity for leadership and career advancement.

The role of Tax manager means the following responsibilities:

- Preparation and review of federal and state income taxes for individuals, businesses, reals estate and exempt organizations (VAT, Road Tax, Property Tax etc.)
- Preparation of tax guidelines of Tax and Accounting
- Controlling and preparing of contract with clients
- Research and develop tax- saving strategies
- Identify and mitigate tax risks
- Reconciliation tax data on financial statements
- Builds new and existing client relationship and demonstrate knowledge of client business
- Leading of small team

The successful candidate should have:

- University degree in Economics (Audit, Accounting, Tax)
- Minimum 5 years of experience on a relevant position Tax advisor / Specialist / Manager
- Fluent level of English (oral and written)
- Excel and Word is a must
- Deep knowledge of Slovak Tax Laws
- Experience with US GAAP principles is preferable
- Strong communication skills
- Multitasking
