Commodity buyer

This is an excellent opportunity to work in well-established international company located in Prešov on the position of PROJECT BUYER:

- Responsibility to drive the cost on material / components down in cooperation with suppliers and technology department
- Responsibility for building a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
- Responsibility for that the chosen suppliers are competitive and delivering the specified quality at the agreed lead time and price
- Responsibility for examination and re-evaluation existing contracts and suppliers
- Responsibility for building professional relationships with suppliers and looking for optimal solutions for both
- Responsibility for optimizing the payment terms and freight conditions
- Responsibility for assisting to logistic department in urgent matters when flow of material, quality of material from suppliers is not according to plan
- Cooperating with other sites of the company on global level

The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:

- University education (econimical or technical background)
- At least 3 year experience with similar job
- Experience in automotive is advatange
- Advanced PC skills (MS Office)
- Advanced English (min B2 level)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Presentation skills
- Communication skills
- Logical and analytical thinking
